ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS VARY BY POSITION:
- Scheduling, insurance verification, and reception
- Assist physicians by setting up procedures and exams, compression garment fitting and wound dressing care, etc.
- Administer medication as ordered by the physicians, and monitor for adverse reactions
- Perform patient history, assessment of current complaint, vital signs measurement and document in medical record and provide direct patient care
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize reusable instruments and packs
- Document all transactions, phone conversations, treatments, and orders in the patient medical record
- Communicate pre-operative instructions and proper follow-up
- Review medical records (labs, x-rays, pathology reports, CT scans, MRI, etc) and bring them to the attention of the physician
- Maintain patient confidentiality, HIPAA and OSHA compliance
- Physician liaison with patients, vascular lab, hospital personnel, home health agencies, pharmaceutical representatives, and nursing home personnel, etc.
- Adheres to policy/procedures of organization
- Ability to maintain regular attendance is an essential function
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Graduation/Certification from an approved medical assistance program
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player
- Current CPR and other Certifications as needed
- Broad medical experience with an emphasis on direct patient care
- Medical terminology knowledge

- Ability to maintain composure when confronted with fast-paced/stressful situations

JOB DUTIES VARY PER POSITION:
- Work effectively in a multi-tasking work environment
- Work independently with minimum supervision
- Perform a variety of duties by sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling or lifting/pushing up to 50lbs on a frequent basis during work shifts
- Sweeping, mopping, wiping, scrubbing, scraping, and general cleaning on walls, floors, and various equipment
- Cleaning grates and buildup on various surfaces/equipment via high-pressure water blasting
- Responsible for driving and delivery of pre-ordered products to assigned accounts and for rotating and stocking product
- Accurately pull orders from inventory and pack them for delivery
- Use or be willing to learn how to use forklifts and electric pallet jacks
- Secure and tarp loads on large flatbed trailers in outside working conditions
- Performing industrial maintenance repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility structure
